Inshō was primarily a painter but early in his career he also provided designs for some printed materials (e.g., fan prints, shikishi, textile pattern books). Twenty-one of these woodblock printed designs, depicting flowers, fruits and (or) birds, are included in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Inshō drew his picture subjects in a true-to-life way which was the style used most often in Japanese art of the early to mid-1900s.
